On July 3rd we ventured through the heat and crowds to spend the day in Washington D.C. Stephanie wanted to see the monuments, so after a quick ride on the metro that was the first order of business.
First was Washington.
Then World War II.
Our gang faces represented Idaho well (can't you tell I am well-versed in gang sign?....).
Korean War
Abraham Lincoln was a nice pit stop in the shade.
The Vietnam Wall was our final stop along the National Mall.
The Natural History Museum was bedlam so we had quick stops with the gems, dinosaurs, ocean lands, and mammals.
Back to the metro again. The final stop of the night. The Washington D.C. Temple. Stephanie watched Tanner so Lowell and I could run in for a few minutes. I was so nervous that after the long day, Tanner would be upset for Steph, however apparently Tanner was quite content and just looked around.
