Bowling!

As a recruiting event for families, one of the companies rented out the bowling alley and ordered Brick Oven pizza for a fun afternoon on campus.  We were excited for the opportunity to let Tanner bowl for the first time - he loved it too.
Enjoying the arcade games!

Gardener Village

A few weeks ago MBASA (the MBA Spouse Association) went on a field trip to Gardener Village to see the Witches.  Definitely a fun place and I hope we can go back again.

September Days

Someone learned to climb.  I left the room and came back to this.
September passed too quickly and here we are, almost halfway through October!

He was very proud of himself and even does the stairs fearlessly.  Just need to work on going down.

We took lots of naps.

More naps

Yummy food

Attack!

Dog pile!

Tanner and Spencer are starting to play together and it is so fun!  Tanner was trying to dog pile on Spencer and obviously Spencer was not fazed.

Raspberries!

Raspberries are one of my favorite fruits...however they are always so expensive at the store we hardly ever get them.  That changed this year when I found a local raspberry patch with very reasonable prices.  The boys and I ventured out two times and loved our raspberries!  Tanner was so cute with his little bucket, more made it into his mouth than his bucket that is for sure.

Chillin' in the stroller

Why yes, I will have a raspberry.  Thank you.

Right before we left, Tanner found their sandbox.  If only I had seen it sooner Tanner would have been occupied longer and I would have gotten more raspberries.  Just before this, Tanner dumped his treats into my bucket and then all over the ground so the lasts 10-15 minutes of our visit were spent picking that up instead of picking more raspberries.
One day we were eating raspberries for dessert and Tanner would put one in his mouth and exclaim "Yummy Raspberry" then eat it.  He repeated that process until the raspberries were gone.

We are excited for more raspberries next year!

City Creek & 8 Months

For several months I had been excited to explore the new City Creek Shopping area in Salt Lake after our move.  So on Labor Day we took advantage of Lowell's day off and called our friend Lauren for a day of fun.
We ventured around City Creek, enjoyed Chick-fil-A, Temple Square, and finally Lauren treated us to Belgian Waffles in celebration of Lowell's upcoming birthday.

One outfit change later and it was time for Tanner to party.

Lowell joined in the fun and helped position Tanner over the water.

Tanner's favorite part of Temple Square?  Walking along the flower beds.

Family Shots just don't work anymore....

Slightly better

And we wrapped up the day with Spencer's 8-month photo shoot.  He is one happy-go-lucky baby and we are so blessed to have him in our house!
