Lowell says he first took notice of me because he thought I looked like Tina Fey. (He kind of has/had a thing for good old Tina). See we wouldn't be a couple without the show's creator/star!
You decide. Was he right?

| A few weeks after we started dating. |
We got married a mere 2 months before the show debuted Fall of 2006. We have watched all the episodes together (well, I might have missed one or two from season 6...). It is the one show Lowell consistently agrees to watch with me.
Living in Pennsylvania, we would often go up to New York - and one of our favorite stops: 30 Rockefeller Plaza. During the intro we always smile and point out the places we have been together. Heck, we have even taken Tanner there. (FYI - if you are looking for street hot dogs there is a place that sells them for $1 near 30 Rock - in Times Square they are $$$$ for the same thing).

There was also that Halloween I dressed up as Tina Fey, or was it Sarah Palin, or was it Tina Fey dressed up to be Sarah Palin. The details are a little fuzzy.

After a long day, reruns of 30 Rock have provided many laughs and much stress relief. Lowell has already asked if we should start watching it from the beginning again, MBA School might just require it.
An oldie but goodie, Lowell frequently starts singing "Werewolf Bar Mitvah":
And while my short eulogy for 30 Rock does not compare to a son's eulogy for his mother...
...Thanks for the laughs over the last 7 years, 30 Rock. You will be missed.
Elise out.
